Each year, the Gaylord property is transformed at Christmas into a magical lodge wonderland called So Much Christmas. The Gaylord Rockies is a 5-star resort with a massive 1500 rooms and 114 suites. Each room boasts exceptionally comfortable beds. We found them to be extremely relaxing and hard to get out of in the morning. In addition, each room has a desk area, mini bar. Depending on the side of the resort you choose,guest rooms offer stunning views of the resort or the Rocky Mountains.
Gaylord Rockies Guest Amenities
Year-round, the resort offers world-class resort amenities for your family to enjoy. Amenities include the Relache spa and salon, which provides a variety of services to meet your needs. In addition, guests can enjoy a fitness center with outdoor basketball and tennis courts.
The heated pools, lazy rivers, and water parks are always guest hits. They offer both indoor and outdoor attractions. So, guests can enjoy swimming and lounging year-round regardless of Colorado’s climate.
The grand lodge is the resort’s main focal point and is the signature of all Gaylord properties. The lodge is seasonally changed to reflect the holiday programming and is especially magical at Christmas.

Just outside the Grand Lodge’s front lawn, guests can enjoy outdoor activities. This includes Free games, activities, and fire pits with smore kits for the winter season.
Gaylord Rockies Resort: Glacier Point
The property’s lawn is also transformed into what Gaylord calls Glacier Point. This is an immersive and interactive outdoor winter wonderland experience. Attractions range from snow tubing to holiday light displays, ice skating, and more.
Gaylord Rockies Resort: Mistletoe Village
The holiday magic takes place in the convention center dubbed Mistletoe Village for the season.
The experience includes meet and greets with Santa and Mrs. Clause. Families also enjoy gingerbread decorating classes and immersive activity rooms in the “I love Holiday Movies “attraction. Our favorite was a nightly circus variety show called Cirque Dream Holidaze. It is a phenomenal production.
