Heading to Cabo San Lucas and looking for the Best Places to stay in Cabo? In this detailed guide, I will be sharing three of the best resorts for families in Cabo on each side of the Peninsula for your next Cabo vacation.
This guide is sponsored by Los Cabos Tourism. However, all photos, information and opinions are my own.

Los Cabos is located in the southernmost tip of the Baja California Sur . The Baja California region of Mexico is adjacent to mainland Mexico including Mazatlan and Puerto Vallarta .
With the stunning blue waters of the sea of Cortez on one side and the Pacific Ocean to the other , it’s easy to understand why over 3 million tourists choose to visit the destination by plane and cruise line each year .

Los Cabos or The Cabos in translation can be a bit confusing to travelers . It’s name represents a combination of the destinations in this region. The two main tourist districts are Cabo San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo.
The two cities that create corridors are just over 20 miles long and most tourists are able to explore both areas easily during a trip . Each city is unique in its offerings of resorts and all inclusive experiences .

While the popular tourism destination is known for its luxurious resort accommodations and world class cuisine , it is also one of the most famous places in the world for sport fishing .
The peninsula is considered the marlin capital of the world . Needless to say , there is truly something to offer for everyone in the region from retirement to children , families and solo travelers. Cabo is even a great destination for couples.
Where to stay in Los Cabos

As I mentioned above , Los Cabos is nestled in between the sea of Cortez and the Pacific Ocean .
For that reason , travelers have various options for accommodations and where you select to stay can be based upon your access to transportation, proximity to attractions and your desire to stay beach front.

The Cabo Villas Beach Resort is a stunning beach resort located on Medano Beach, one of the only swimmable beaches in Cabo San Lucas.

This expansive resort ranks as a 4.5 star luxury resort with high end spacious rooms and scenic infinity pools and views of the Sea of Cortez and the Arco rock formation or the famous Land’s End Arches. This makes it one of the best places to stay in Cabo on the Sea of Cortez side of the peninsula.
Cabo Villas Beach Resort Guest Rooms

The resort offers a large variety of rooms, suites and towers. However, the all new Corazon tower is the best option for guests looking for a luxe and upscale vacation experience. The prices in this tower range from $250USD per night to $1000+ USD per night for a larger family and multigenerational style suites.

The beach is Medano beach and offers even more access to bars and restaurants both on property and the hotel zone for tourists including quick access to downtown Cabo.

The bathrooms are just one of the many highlights of any signature Nobu property.

The deluxe private pool king and double rooms have a welcoming display of indoor/outdoor living space with a sitting area and private pool with privacy dividers.
Though there are many pools at Nobu, a private pool elevates the guest experience especially for those who seek more privacy when traveling during the pandemic.

With either dining option , I highly recommend reservations.

Nobu Los Cabos Amenities

The Nobu resort is massive and for good reason. There is something to do for every member of your family right here on property and there’s so much to love about staying at Nobu.
Guests of the property are assigned a personal concierge at check in. This concierge will be your main point of contact. Guests access them via whats app and they can assist you with booking activities, cabanas and dinner reservations.

Another thing that I love about the property’s amenities is the variety of outdoor dining and common areas. Day or night they are enjoyable nooks to enjoy your time at the resort. Some nights, there are also live musical performances.
There are also a variety of pools and cabanas for guests to enjoy with private areas for adults and families separate. In addition, you can also find recreational areas and games scattered around the property as well.
The property is also beach side. However, it is not located on one of Cabo’s swimmable beaches so keep that in mind.
Nobu Los Cabos On Site Covid Testing Information
As you know, Mexico is not currently requiring covid testing to enter the country but countries like the US and the UK are mandating covid testing for reentry.
Nobu offers on site covid testing, included with the price of your room is the cost of 2 rapid antigen tests if you stay 3 or more nights. The concierge is able to take that appointment for you ahead of time and test results typically come back within 2 hours. Additional tests cost $50per person
