Guide to the BEST Las Vegas Hotels for Families

Best Las Vegas Hotels for Families

For years, Las Vegas has been labeled as “The Sin City” and while there is still much truth to that notion, the city has increasingly become a destination suitable for multigenerational families looking to have a great time on the West Coast. If you’re looking to book a family friendly version of a Las Vegas vacation, this mini guide aims to give you information about the BEST Las Vegas hotels for families. The options are plentiful both on and off the Las Vegas strip and all have unique accessibility to attractions and amenities. For more information on Las Vegas, check out the best places to eat in Las Vegas, the Must See Scenic Drives in Las Vegas and a list of cheap things to do in Las Vegas with Kids.

Las Vegas Hotels with Kid Activities

Mandalay Bay

Mandalay Bay is one of the most popular hotels on the Las Vegas strip. Its location on the strip places guests in prime location to visit some of the most kid friendly attractions such as World of Coca-Cola, M&M’s World, and other top Las Vegas attractions. What makes Mandalay Bay so unique is that it’s one of the few Las Vegas hotels with kid activities. Mandalay Bay offers the Shark Reef Aquarium which is an attraction with over 2,000 animals and close encounters. Guests can also take advantage of the Mandalay Beach with sand pools and an impressive 11- acre water park. Guests of the a joining Four Seasons hotel have access to these amenities.

Red Rock Resort and Casino

Another Resort located off the Las Vegas strip that is great for families is the Red Rock Resort and Casino. If you’re looking to explore more of the outdoor attractions like the Red Rock Canyon, this resort is a great option for you. What makes this resort kid friendly is their in resort amenities such as the Kids Quest Kid Club. It’s one of the few Las Vegas hotels with childcare, Luxury Bowling Alley, Movie Theatre and Large resort style pool. Guests can essentially plan a family friendly Las Vegas vacation without leaving the property.

Las Vegas Hotels with Childcare

Four Seasons Las Vegas

Everywhere you search online, the Four Seasons Las Vegas will repeatedly show up as the Best Las Vegas hotel for kids and families. This is for a good reason. The Four Seasons brand has worked tirelessly over the decades to provide family friendly experiences without sacrificing luxury and the same is true for this location on the strip. The Four Seasons Las Vegas is on the strip but a non-gaming facility which means that parents can enjoy with kids and/or grand- parents multi-generationally with no worries of typical casino smoke. In addition, their location in connection to the Mandalay Bay hotel gives families access to unique kid friendly amenities. In true four seasons fashion, guests can expect to have access to nanny services, dining menus with children in mind and Welcome gifts for children upon arrival.

Aria Hotel and Spa

While the Aria is not often listed as one of the most kid friendly hotels on the strip, it has some pretty great benefits for families who want to stay on property with older kids and teens. Kids are allowed in one of the pools on property without the standard Las Vegas party atmosphere, some other great amenities are the Game Room which offers Playstation and Xbox game consoles. Kids can enjoy Cirque Du Soleil shows while they are available and parents looking to get away on a date night can hire on- site childcare.  The area is near great attractions like the Fountains of Bellagio, the Bellagio Conservatory and more.

Las Vegas Hotels with Kid Friendly Pools

Vdara Hotel and Spa

Vdara is another great option for families on the Las Vegas strip because it is also a non- gaming and non- smoking facility which means less smoking and more comfortable for families. It’s also an all -suite hotel which means that each guest can enjoy suite style living which makes it comfortable and spacious enough for families large or small to enjoy.  In addition, the Vdara hotel is one of the few hotels on in Las Vegas that offers a heated pool and year- round pool opening in Las Vegas. So, no matter the time of year for your visit, you can enjoy time in the pool.

M Resort

The M Resort is approximately 10 miles from the south end of the strip in Henderson, NV and one of the locals best kept secrets. What makes the M Resort so unique is that it’s the official Headquarter hotel of the Las Vegas Raiders. So, guests who are sports enthusiast will love to stay at this luxurious resort. Guests can take advantage of resort style amenities such as its backyard oasis pool Tool Club and Top Golf Swing Suite. Guest rooms offer a stunning Las Vegas strip View and there is on site transportation both to and from the strip and some of Las Vegas’s best attractions. Although there is a casino on property, children will enjoy the less crowded feel and large pool area.

Hilton Garden Inn Las Vegas City Center

If you’re looking for a budget friendly family option, the Hilton Garden Inn Las Vegas City Center is a great newly opened hotel near the strip. They have a great kid friendly pool shared with Homewood suites if you require more of a suite style living arrangement. In addition, the property is near great kid friendly attractions like the Fountains of Bellagio. They also offer great on site options for breakfast.

Las Vegas Hotels with a Kitchen

Tahiti Village Resort

The Tahiti Village is one of the most kid friendly resorts on this list because the property is completely geared toward family enjoyment. This all- suite hotel is another one on the list with multiple room suite options. In addition, they have non- smoking and non- gaming on property. However, the true prize is the amenities. Families can enjoy their year- round heated pool and lazy river that are open 24- hours a day. This hotel is really accessible for families to enjoy the attractions on the strip. They offer shuttle services to and from the Strip daily, grocery shuttles for their full sized in room kitchens, washer/dryer and tour services.

Hilton Grand Vacations

Hilton Grand Vacations has multiple locations along the Las Vegas Strip. The most popular locations are the Grand Vacations, Elara, The Flamingo. All are located with easy access to popular attractions on the strip. What makes Grand Vacations locations family friendly are their in- room options that include kitchenettes. Depending on the accommodation that you choose, these are great options for larger families that require both kitchens and multi bedroom options.

Other Great Hotel Options off Strip for Families

Hilton Lake Las Vegas

If a quiet Las Vegas experience is more of your speed, a short 20- minute drive into nearby Henderson offers a unique view of the city. Hilton Lake Las Vegas is a part of a golf and master planned community village. Guests can enjoy luxurious rooms, a European style experience and being surrounded by shops, eateries and outdoor/water sporting attractions. As a local, I always recommend that tourists traveling to Las Vegas at least spend one night in Lake Las Vegas for a different experience of the city. In addition, if you plan to visit the Hoover Dam; this accommodation is closer than the strip.

Important Note: There are at least a Dozen more hotels and resort in Las Vegas that are great for families or have more suitable attractions on site for kids. However, I mentioned resorts that had great offerings and offered updated guest rooms. A lot of the popular “kid friendly” resorts on the strip such as Circus Circus are outdated. In addition, due to Covid-19; a lot of resorts have either cancelled kids programming, services or attractions like the Excalibur’s popular Tournament of Kings show. I chose these hotels because I prefer to give my readers information about elevated experiences during their vacations that are for the most part accessible right now.

Looking Forward to the Future ! I keep reflecting Looking Forward to the Future ! I keep reflecting on how different things feel from last year this time and what things feel like today . 365 days ago, we were essentially starting lockdown and unaware of how much the world would change for better and worse. It’s a constant reminder that life is too short to not take risks and do things you love! So, how do you feel? And what are you reflecting on? Leave ANYTHING in the comments. Are you optimistic about the future of things returning to normal? Looking forward to a trip coming up? VISITING CALIFORNIA DURING COVID ——> Please VISITING CALIFORNIA DURING COVID ——> Please remember to SAVE and SHARE this post with someone who could use the information <——— ———————————— As spring break season is continuing over the next few weeks . I wanted to answer some important questions about what it was like visiting California during Covid. For more detailed and up to date information, visit @visitcalifornia or @visitsandiego! ——————
☀️ Requirements across California are very different based on a county level . La Jolla is apart of San Diego county . ☀️San Diego County is currently in the less restrictive Tier 2 or Red Tier of Reopening ☀️In San Diego , you will find outdoor dining and limited indoor dining. Masks are mandatory for all common areas. Retail and shopping are operating at 50% indoor capacity ☀️Starting April 1st, you’ll find that amusement parks are opening at between 15% and 20% capacity We stayed in San Diego ( La Jolla) for 4 nights/ 5 days and at no point did we feel unsafe . Everyone was kind, wearing masks and we were able to have A great time with no exception Bottom Line: We highly recommend adding San Diego to your list for spring break destinations if you feel comfortable and are willing to Adhere to all policies that are currently in place ————————- Where are you planning to go for spring break ? If California , what part and what activities are you looking to do ? Leave it in the comments below !

More Things to do in La Jolla ( San Diego) Califor More Things to do in La Jolla ( San Diego) California ! —-> Please remember to SHARE | COMMENT | SAVE and LIKE this post . It means the world to creators <———- ——————- 🌊Did you know that there was a beach where you can get super up close and personal with seals and sea lions? 😳 🌊La Jolla Cove is located approximately 20 mins from downtown San Diego. If you’re staying in La Jolla, it will likely be no more than 10 mins from your hotel. It’s worth spending a half day on the beach swimming , discovering coves, having a picnic at connecting Scripps Park and watching Sea Lions wash up on shore for the day. 🌊By mid day, there were hundreds on sea lions and while you can get EXTREMELY close to them, it’s best to keep a bit of distance and not bother with them or try to feed them. 🌊If you homeschool or travel to La Jolla with children , this is a great opportunity to learn about Marine life coupled with another short drive to the La Jolla tide pools . ————————-

What to do in La Jolla ( San Diego) California ? What to do in La Jolla ( San Diego) California ? ——> please remember to SHARE, SAVE , COMMENT and LIKE this post <———- How adventurous of a traveler are you ? I consider myself to like a mix of adventure / thrills and chill in my trips. During our time in La Jolla, took up the sport of Paragliding and became a student pilot for the day at the @flytpg in Torrey Pines. Y’all!! A once in a lifetime experience 😍we glided over cliffs and one of the most beautiful beaches . —————-
About Paragliding at @flytpg 🪁 The Torrey Pines Gliderport has over 100 years of aviation history and is one of the most historic locations for Hang Gliding , paragliding and more in the US. 🪁Guests can choose from flight lessons to tandem flight classes (which I did with a certified pilot) and more 🪁The cost for paragliding starts at $175 pp which includes a tandem ride with a certified pilot for 20 to 25 mins . Fun fact: weight is not a factor as long as the winds are high for the day. Also, anyone age toddler to senior can ride ! 🪁Hang Gliding starts at $225 pp and is only offered occasionally. 🪁 Flights are typically from 11 to 5 each day and no reservation is required! 🪁 Call the morning of your flight to be sure that the weather permits for the day Also, I HIGHLY recommend that even if this is something you don’t want to participate in , you visit the glider port and watch others take off for the day. There’s great picnic tables and a snack stand to have lunch! ————————
