Traveling via airplane is undoubtedly my favorite form of travel. There’s nothing like arriving to a destination in just a few short hours. However, let’s be real… everything about air travel is expensive. Airport food and snacks can cost anywhere from $10 to $50 and by the time you arrive to your destination, you’ve eaten into your travel budget. That’s why my family and I make it our mission to not spend any of our vacation budget until we arrive at our destination.
One of our favorite ways to do this is to get creative and pack the snacks ourselves in our carry- on luggage. Packing your own snacks not only saves you money but it gives you more of a variety to choose from. Plus, kids stay satisfied for longer which means they are less likely to be grumpy. So today, I’m sharing an easy travel snack using Windstone Farms Creamy Peanut Butter Portable Packets.

Windstone Farms Creamy Peanut Butter Portable Packets are my go to snacks for travel! They are a new and exciting brand of peanut butter at Walmart and honestly, it’s some of the best that I’ve ever tried. They are a family owned and operated brand of 35 years and I wish that I knew about them sooner!
What I love about peanut butter is its diversity. I can fix my family snacks in many different ways and I never have to worry about it going bad or needing to stay cold which is a life saver for long travel days! As a huge plus, they are in portable packaging that’s TSA friendly which makes it perfect for travel. Who really has time to be held up in the TSA checkpoint?
I’ll be honest here and tell you that we are a family of snackers. We love a good snack and while that’s not always the best thing to do, I try to pay close attention to the snacks that we eat and how they contribute to our bodies. That said, I was so happy to find out that Windstone Farms Peanut Butter packets are naturally grown and harvested in the USA, naturally gluten free and high in protein at 7 Grams per pack. Not only is it an amazing tasting peanut butter but I find comfort in knowing that it is so protein packed that it will keep us full for a longer period of time. This has been a lifesaver since we tend to fly out early in the morning before having breakfast.
