The Bricktown district of Oklahoma City was first established in 1889 as a result of land run like much of Oklahoma .

What was the Oklahoma railroad station  that brought thousands of settlers into the American west soon became appealing to farmers and other settlers who sought to create a new life and town that they could call home . This move catapulted economic growth into the area .

Over the years , locals to Oklahoma City have witnessed the Bricktown neighborhood shift from a historic warehouse district to a world class entertainment complex for locals and tourists .

Don’t panic but … ITS ALMOST HALLOWEEN AT @dis Don’t panic but … ITS ALMOST HALLOWEEN AT @disneyland !!!!🎃💀 Aside from Christmas, it’s my most favorite time of the year and NOBODY does the Holidays quite like Disney ! So, here are 3 Tips for planning your holiday vacation in the parks 🎃 Buy the tickets NOW! Holiday park date reservation fill quickly. I highly recommend getting all bookings done 30+ days in advance . That includes park tickets, specialty passes and hotel reservations. Halloween time at @disneyland lasts from September 6th to October 31st this year! 🎃Know what’s included ! Don’t make the mistake of thinking that the park ticket = special event passes! Special events in the park are a separate purchase! So, consider which events you want to experience ahead of time. Events like Oogie Boogie Bash are already sold OUT! 🎃 Take advantage of other holiday events/ attractions nearby . The fun doesn’t have to stop at Disneyland/Disneyworld. Both Orlando and Anaheim have other great parks, downtown communities and hotels that fit the theme! Regular park tickets during the holiday season are just as magical as the special events and your other experiences while in town can be just as fun by checking out some other nearby attractions!! 🎃Bonus tip: Get your spooky merch from small shops! If you really want to stand out during the holidays at Disney, consider purchasing unique park merch from small shops here on IG or @etsy ! #disneyreels #disneylandcalifornia #disneycaliforniaadventure #halloweentimeatdisneyland #halloweentime #disneycreators #disneygram #disneyparks #disneymagic #disneymomsofcolor #disneymoms

How to survive a Road Trip with Kids JK we are n How to survive a Road Trip with Kids JK we are not surviving and actually need help 😂 Yall! If you’ve ever gone on a road trip with a child then you probably feel our pain. Luckily, I do have a few tips to make it bearable ( no not solve problems. I would not lie to you 😂) 1. Break the trip up! We’ve decided that our family max is between 4 and 5 hours . So, we make it a point to find the best city to stop in between that timeframe . Yes, it makes the road trip longer but also adds to the exploration. 2. Throw the “No electronics” out the window . This is not the time to be stingy! We download movies on @disneyplus and @netflix for the length of our trip. 3. Bring something new/ Bring something familiar ! New things hold interest longer and familiar things bring comfort . Something new for us is usually a coloring / activity book. Something familiar for us is usually his travel giraffe. 4. The playlist matters! Pick songs that everyone knows . That way, you can sing together. The worse you sound the better 😂 What things do you implement to survive road trips?
