My three- year- old is at such a fun age. He’s brave, he doesn’t hesitate to tell us his likes and dislikes and he’s a sponge learning new things every single day. I love that he loves learning and inquiring about the world around him. That is in large part due to us introducing him to books early and boy does he love to read.
Starting home school at a young age for us means a ton of playing and even more reading. So, I was thrilled to find out that purchasing Eggo Varieties from Walmart gives you access to Kellogg’s Feeding Reading Program. The Kellogg’s Feeding Reading program is an amazing initiative that has a goal of getting more books into the hands of children to not only build confidence in learning but get off to a good start of the day with Kellogg’s breakfast and a good book.
Kellogg’s Feeding Reading Program 1 Box= 1 Book
Getting new books with Kellogg’s Eggo variety packs is super simple. If you buy one Eggo, you get one FREE Penguin Random House book. If you purchase any Eggo product during the promotional window, you can get a Penguin Random House book for your child or his/her school. You can bet we stocked up on Eggo products! They’re wholesome and filling but we loved the initiative and wanted to support their mission.
Eggo products can be found In the frozen breakfast aisle of your local Walmart and they come in a large variety of flavors to choose from.
My son’s bookshelf is now overflowing with books. So, we thought that this could be a great opportunity to give back to our community. Giving books is an excellent way to welcome a new military child to our area. Not only does it say “Welcome to The Neighborhood” but it also gives them something to engage in while they are waiting for their house hold goods and toys to arrive. Some other things you can do with your book redemption is: Set up a neighborhood library, donate them to charity or save and wrap them for Christmas gifts.
