![TRAVEL NEWS [ LIKE COMMENT SHARE SAVE] Starting tomorrow (1/26/2021) international travelers will be required to have proof of a NEGATIVE Covid test upon returning to the United States. YES! That also included American Citizens over the age of 2. 🔻FAQ🔺
1️⃣ US Territories are not included in this requirement. Travelers can return from Guam, Puerto Rico and the USVI without a Covid test
2️⃣ Adults & Children over the age of 2 are required to get tested and have results within 72 hours of returning flight
3️⃣ A Positive test result means that you will be required to quarantine for 14 days or until negative test result before returning to the states
4️⃣ This rule DOES NOT apply to US land boarder crossings (ie: driving to Canada/Mexico So, what’s the solution ? 📌 Many international hotels and resorts are now offering Covid testing on site for an additional fee per person
📌Travelers can also check with airlines and airports to get tested
📌It is good practice to purchase a travel insurance that will cover you in the case that you will be required to quarantine and/or have a plan for long term stay
